After completion of the NVQ level 7 construction senior management, candidates will be recognised as meeting the latest standards required by the Chartered Institute of Building enabling candidates after completion to apply to the CIOB for full Chartered status via a streamlined process. You will also be able to apply for a black CSCS card upon completion, which demonstrates your proficiency in construction site management in a safe capacity.
This NVQ Level 7 Construction Senior Management is a work and discussion-based diploma, using your current skills and knowledge based on the aspects of senior construction management including your technical knowledge, people management skills, procurement, forecasting, and quality assurance. You should also have an understanding of the financial management of construction projects. This level 7 NVQ in senior construction management is made up of a number of core, mandatory units, and some optional units. Your assessor will help you choose the most relevant optional units for your professional development and current skill set. A combination of our online system used to submit evidence of your skills and telephone conversations will be used to track your progress towards the level 7 construction management NVQ.
This NVQ provides formal recognition of practicing at a senior level for company directors, contracts/project managers, senior site managers, senior quantity surveyors, senior estimators, and senior engineers.
