The Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations (Construction) -Planning Lifts qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means the learner must be employed in a role where planning lifts form part of the candidates' duties. Through the collection of evidence candidates will demonstrate their skills, knowledge and understanding as well as demonstrating their competence in the workplace when carrying out planning lifts within the construction industry.
The Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Controlling Lifting Operations Slinger Signaller – is designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace. Learners must demonstrate their skills, knowledge and experience in operating items of sligning and signalling loads. This qualification is suitable for practicing construction slinger/signallers responsible for moving loads o site on site.
This NVQ provides formal recognition for operators working in the construction environment.
The NVQ is delivered while you are on site working with your assessor supporting you on a 1-2-1 basis.

The Level 4 Lifting Supervisor NVQ, is a proficiency-based qualification for candidates who currently work in a lifting or crane supervisory role. The supervision of lifting operations must be part of your current duties for you to undertake this qualification – if you don’t currently work supervising lifts and don’t have the sufficient knowledge you will not be able to undertake this NVQ. Throughout the course candidates are assessed through the collection of evidence that will demonstrate their skills, knowledge and understanding as well as demonstrating their competence in the workplace when carrying out planning lifts within the construction industry.
